The School will:

 

 
·         Offer you the opportunity to visit the school to discuss any aspect of your child’s education


·         Encourage your child to do his / her best at all times


·         Contact you if there is a problem with attendance/punctuality/equipment


·         Inform you if there are concerns regarding your child’s work or behaviour


·         Deal with bullying speedily and effectively


·         Send home regular reports


·         Set and mark homework in accordance with the homework timetable


·         Invite you to Parents’ Evening to discuss progress


·         Send home a regular newsletter containing information regarding important school dates, events etc

  


Parents will:

 

 
·         See that my child attends school regularly, on time and properly equipped, including full PE kit


·         Send school an absence note to cover all illness or other type of absence


·         Make sure that the school is aware of any problems which may affect my child’s work or behaviour


·         Support the school’s policies and guidelines for behaviour


·         Try to attend Parents’ Evenings and other meetings called to discuss problems and progress


·         Try to support my child with homework and opportunities for learning at home

 

  


The pupil will:

 


·         Wear correct school uniform


·         Remove outside clothing before entering school/class


·         Bring correct equipment


·         Complete homework


·         Attend lessons and be punctual


·         Respect the school, others and myself


·         Use appropriate language and listen to others – not interrupt


·         Follow instructions without undue fuss


·         Always be polite and show mutual cooperation and respect


·         When moving around school do so on the LEFT, when queuing do so quietly in single file


·         Eat food only in designated areas disposing of litter properly in bins provided


·         Turn off mobile phones at all times in school ensuring they are not visible


·         Ensure that electronic equipment is not visible or audible unless required in the lesson
